Nelson Suburbs is excited to share our plans for players interested in joining our Academy groups in 2026.
Players wishing to join our Academy can register to be part of the Term 4 Academy for the age group they played in this season (2025).

Our Academy groups will be refined for next year, and we believe that players registering for the Term 4 trial (two sessions a week for eight weeks) should have played in their age group's current BLUE or YELLOW divisions or be highly driven to improve as players.
Players trialing for our 2026 Academy will take part in the Term 4 2025 sessions along with the existing Academy players within their age groups. Players must attend all of the sessions.
VERY IMPORTANT - All players trialing must have completed the following form first. Payment must also be made as a commitment to the Academy trials. The payment is $235 for Term 4 and must be made to complete the full process of the "Expression of Interest" registration form. THE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
When filling out the form be sure to tick the age group that your player is playing in this year (2025), eg 9th grade, 10th grade, etc.
Unregistered trialists will not be able to attend the trial sessions. The form must be completed first please.
All existing players and new trialing players will be monitored and watched over the 8 weeks, before final selections for our 2026 Academy are made. Families will then be notified by email if your player is successful.

Please Note: Players that are already part of our Academy do not need to complete the above form as you have been sent a separate Term 4 registration form (including payment).
The trials are open to players from across our region.
