PRIMARY SCHOOLS MINI FOOTBALL 

• Primary Schools Mini Football runs for 6 weeks during Terms 1 and 4

• The games are played on THURSDAYS at either 4.00, 4.30 or 5.00 pm

• The games are 5 aside (maximum of 7 players) with rolling subs

• 25 min games (one way, no breaks)

• No goal keepers, no off-sides
  

• No throw-ins, ball is kicked back in from where it went out
  

• Small fields, small goals
  

• A game for both boys and girls of all abilities and experience
  

• Emphasis is all about having fun and feeling included
  

• Results are not recorded
  

• All teams will have a manager/parent helper

• Team managers/parent helpers organise their teams/ref on the day and look after the POD certificates

• Each team must have a team name

• The grades available are –Years 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 and mixed age girls

Mini Football will be played at SAXTON FIELD opposite our club rooms. 

The smaller sized pitches will be marked with numbered flags.

One ball, also numbered, per field.

Weekly draw and field map will be outside on display.

Bibs available for use when there is a clash of shirt colours.
